INFLUENCE

The Protea Flower symbolises change and transformation across cultures. There are many meanings for this magnificent flower; a few being Diversity, Daring, Transformation and Courage. This is my interpretation of such meanings.  It was a joy to paint and I hope you enjoy my most daring piece.

This piece was designed mainly with a palette knife using soft subtle colours. The use of graphite and china graph adds a movement to the piece suggesting fun and magic bringing the Protea to life.

This piece is a one off original designed by me and signed by me, the artist.

SPECIFICATIONS

Quality acrylics have been used giving long lasting pigmentation/lustre. Designed on acid-free environmentally unbleached cotton duck, triple coated with universal primer and gallery style folded corners. Protective matte Varnish has been applied to protect the artwork. The surface of this painting has a slight textured surface encouraging the viewer to touch and feel the art also giving extra visual interest. Hanging wire has been applied on the back so this is ready to hang immediately.
