Additional Information

Seahorse – Seahorses are part of the genus Hippocampus where Hippo means horse and campus means sea monster. It’s hard to reconcile the ‘sea monster’ part as they are such delicate and graceful little creatures. The body armour of a seahorse makes an excellent black and white subject. I purchased this skeleton at a market in Byron Bay and I was pleased to find it as you rarely see them. I have printed this at over 2 metres high in portrait mode for a customer who exhibited in his staircase. It is very striking in the right room.

This image is printed on archival canvas, guaranteed against fading for one hundred years. Box Framed in Tasmanian Oak. Personally signed and editioned on the reverse.
