Kangaroo Island has beautiful wilderness areas, beaches where one is the only person present, glorious forests and abundant wildlife.

Over a third of the island is protected in nature reserves, home to native wildlife like sea lions, koalas, penguins and diverse bird species.

However the island has been devastated by two major bushfires over the past 10 years.
