Tranquil Harbour Morning by Geoff Hargraves – Early in the morning on Sydney Harbour on new year’s day, all the revellers from last night celebrations are just getting to bed or are fast asleep, the sun hasn’t long risen, and we have left our anchorage in Farm cove and are heading back up harbour to our mooring.
Early morning after anchored in Farm Cove, watching the New Year fireworks, we start back up the harbour to our mooring.
Our little tender obediently follows.
The silence is broken by the quite hum of our diesel and the swish of the water as it parts and passes either side of our yacht and laps against our little tender before being left behind with just a few ripples to show our passing.
