Additional Information

“One more step, darling” by Margarita Iakovleva is an etching about polar bear mother is teaching her cub to climb a hill.

Limited edition print of 100. Hand signed and numbered. Printed on archive quality Dutch etching paper 240gsm. Size of paper: 30X25cm. Accompanied by Certificate of Authenticity.

My inspiration come from my love of wild life. Polar bears are animals, which now disappear from the Earth. As the ice is melting, they have less and less space to hunt from. The mother with very yang cubs need to swim more and more hours to the next ice land to have a brake, before they will have to swim again. Polar bear’s life become more and more difficult. Absence of places for hunting bring bears close to people places and brings problems and for people and for bears. They are so magnificent and glorious species that I just have to paint them. I hope you will enjoy viewing it, as much as I enjoyed painting it.
