I paint with Professional quality acrylics, mediums and varnishes on a professional quality stretched canvas.

I have recently added a bespoke Victorian Ash, Australian natural wood, bees wax rubbed float frame to complete.

I love those long sandy walks beside the sea, where the she-oaks grow.

They lead you to the ocean, and when there is a sea breeze, they whisper their sweet, hushed sound that is so recognizable …… they sing their song of the sea with their whispy, salty, needle thin leaves.

I have walked these shores at so many times of the day and so many different times of year, and no two walks are the same. Here, my artwork was inspired by an early morning walk where I was just in time to see the pinks left in the sky. I could hear the sound of the she-oaks in the wind!

I hope these colours, skies and tidal seaside blues take you to a place that makes you happy. Just place it on a large wall where you can sit for a while and enjoy the view.

 

The artwork has a satin varnish finish to protect.
