Breathe Deeper, Exhale Louder by Sharon Rynehart

Some days you just have to breathe deeper and exhale louder. On days when it all seems too hard, taking time to check in with ourselves is not just a want, it’s an absolute need. I often find myself flustered and overwhelmed if I don’t take time out for myself. Of course I’d love to be able to run away to the coast every time I need to shift focus and recenter, but on days I can’t, I paint. This bold statement seascape was created on one of those days, when I just had to withdraw to my studio, and paint. I couldn’t get to the coast so I created it on the canvas. My happy place. And in doing so, I was able to do exactly what was needed, breathe deeper and exhale louder.

Created with palette knives on artist quality cotton canvas, this beautiful seascape of emerald greens, turquoise and teal, sky blue and blushing pink is satin varnished, with a solid timber oak frame.
