Bottle Tree Mojo Days – Framed by Helen Stephens

Mojo apparently means a positive spirit that attracts people with happy, energetic energy. This definitely describes the bottle tree in outback Queensland.

My Bottle Tree Mojo Series of paintings was inspired by a visit to Mitchell in Queensland, where the Main Street was lined with an avenue of bottle trees.

To me they have such a connection to the earth, so resilient, hardy, green leafed, even during the “dry”….. just the same as the people who built this township and surrounds and live on the vast farms but still maintain some beautiful country gardens, that often include a bottle tree.

Reimagined, stylised and painted to add that little pop of colour and energy to your home decor.

An original, modern landscape artwork for you to love. Colours of our country…..fluro pink and orange add to their memory.

I have added a Tasmanian Oak timber float frame as that helps to create the essence of trees.

Included is a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
