Painted using mixed media, this original abstracted work on paper draws inspiration from my surroundings encountered during walks in parkland. Both organic and human-made structures are discernible within the composition.
I describe this as one of my painted, collaged, explosive arrangements, where I use a an amalgam of techniques and mediums including intricate pencil drawings, mono-printed textures and painted pieces in a process of deconstruction and reconstruction.
I relish the thrill and challenge of discovering a visual order through this dynamic process of layering until a kind of chaotic yet harmonious rhythm is achieved.
