Send Your Love To Me by Robbi Neal

Artist Statement: Paintings tell stories. This painting is about love from those we love coming to us like crimson flowers flying in the breeze. My studio is in the garden and there are crimson red flowers like little bursts of love. They find their way into my paintings. This work is also landscape of a garden filled with red crimson flowers.

This work is Oil and Acrylic 110cm X 200cm on Fine Belgian Linen, signed on the front and sent with an artist CV and certificate of authenticity.

The work is sealed with a conservationist Gloss Varnish and is painted on Fine Belgian Linen which provides a beautiful finish for the paint and is long lasting so gives the painting posterity for many hundreds of years and the conservationist quality varnish is essential as it doesn’t yellow or crack with light and age and means that you can wipe the painting free of dust with a damp cloth if you need to which will also preserve its life.

The work is sent Unstretched (this is taken into account in the price) in a roll ready for stretching and or framing. It is much safer for work this size to travel in a roll and then be delivered to you or directly to the framer.

The painting is painted on the sides so if hung stretched without an exterior frame it will still look lovely from any angle (no ugly white sides). I actually hang all large works in my house without exterior frames because I feel that allows the paintings to continue beyond its borders. But I have put up images with different frames to show you.

If you decide to add an exterior frame I suggest choosing a frame that matches your home. ie if you have natural timber choose a timber frame, if you have a lot of black trim choose a black frame. If you would like to see the work with different frames just message me.

Note about Framers: Stretching is the frame the painting is “stretched” onto so it can be hung – though the word framing is sometimes used for this. The frame is the exterior around the painting. Framers charges and quality of work varies greatly so you may choose to go with convenience or to shop around for a stretching price from a local framer. All you will need to get a quote for stretching is the size of the painting. If you want the work stretched only ask for a stretching price. If you want an exterior frame you are asking for stretching and framing.

All work over 100cm is sent via Pack and Send and under 100cm is sent via Australia Post Express
