An An original painting by Margaret Connell.This painting was inspired by a childhood experience in which Margaret made a pastel drawing of red geraniums and has always loved the colours of the plants leaves .Margaret Connell has also been inspired by how the Fauvists used primary and secondary colours to make the colours sing . The canvas has been stretched over a frame and has been covered well with gesso prior to the painting using good quality oil paints and has finished with a light varnish. D hooks have been applied to the back and it’s ready to hang but it does not have an external frame .
