Sweet and not so Sweet Hearts by Carol Forster

I remember the Sweethearts or Conversation Hearts candies from my youth.   This sculptural bowl is my humorous reflection on the contemporary messages that could be incorporated into today’s packets of Sweethearts.  The inside of the bowl contains sweet messages however the outside reflects the not so sweet messages you might send to an annoying ex-partner.  Each heart is handmade in fine porcelain coloured clay and assembled into the form.  The messages are fired on in 9 carat gold lustre.  (Please note that the dark spots on the white hearts are part of the clay and are not able to be removed)

Sweet and not so Sweet Hearts, is an original, ceramic sculpture.
