From the back of the wardrobe, this painting came about after years of nagging from my partner.
I finally painted his shoes and absolutely loved the process. They just came to life on the canvas, there are some beautiful lines and textures in this piece. It just ‘jumps’ of the canvas.

This original piece has a fluoro red background that sets of this iconic basketball shoe.

Smooth layers of paint have been applied and the work is sealed with gloss varnish for that ultra pop finish.
