Banksia Serrata Still III by Smith & Brooks is a limited edition print of the original painting from the collection, ‘Coastal Noir’.

Banksia serrata, also known as saw banksia and old man banksia, can be found along the east coast of Australia from southern Queensland through to Victoria with small pockets of growth as far south as Tasmania. In this piece, the foliage of the banksia serrata was carefully collected from the roadside near Jacky’s mothers home in Port Stephen’s and placed into a simple vessel.

The colour palette of ‘Banksia Serrata Still III’ has been inspired by the blackened trunks of banksia that have been touched by bushfire. There is also a hint of the muted yellows inspired by the blooms of this iconic coastal native. ‘Banksia Serrata Still III’ has been created in conjunction with ‘Coastal Hibiscus Still I’ and the pair bring a sense of deep reflection when hung together.

Each product comes printed with our signature mark on the front and is individually numbered on the back.

Limited edition of 100. Available on high quality 310gsm Hahnemühle Natural Line, Agave Fine Art paper. Each comes with an extra white border for ease of handling for your framer. Made up of 70% agave, this fine art paper is created with less environmental impact than traditional fine art papers.

Also available ready to hang on stretched canvas. Optional float frame available in sustainably sourced oak or matte black timber. All canvas prints are made to order so please allow 4 weeks for dispatch of your order.
