Water Hole by Sue Hill
Sue primed the canvas for texture using paper and moulding paste before starting this painting of a water hole. Her inspiration for this acrylic painting followed a trip to the Kimberly area, WA, by boat in 2024. The craft stopped off at various waterfalls and water holes where sometimes the passengers were encouraged to walk up the rocky cliffs to waterfalls. They were only allowed to swim under the watchful eye of boat staff as the area is known for its freshwater crocodiles. This painting is from the Berkley River area.
Sue has sealed the finished painting in a satin gloss medium. The edges are painted black and it is wired and ready to hang. It is signed on the back.
