Landscape Serenade by Debra Duffy

This artwork is an abstract style landscape using the contrasting textures and patterns of acrylic paint and artist markers. I am inspired by the patterns of earth, water and sky and ‘Landscape Serenade’ features many layers that I weaved throughout using organic inspired shapes, repetitive patterns and contours with a sense of harmony and flow. My focus came from of one particular colour; permanent brown madder that I used as a starting point then the rest of this earthy colour palette evolved around it. This artwork is deep and rich with punches of colour that is balanced with softer, calming elements, perfect for a stunning feature for any space and an oak frame would look beautiful.

This artwork consists of professional quality cotton canvas with sides painted in a creamy soft beige colour, and it is varnished for protection. Signature is on the back and front and also includes a certificate of authenticity.
