Kookaburra Joyful by Rosemary Legat – Acyrlic paint, inktense pencils & collage on 300gsm mixed media paper.

This intuitive layered mixed media painting was created by intertwining layers of paint, markings, glazing, collage pieces (designed and created by me) along with a few torn music sheet pieces, to create a unique surreal multi dimensional artwork.

Finished with a touch of spray varnish for protection and initialled on the front.

I still smile when I recollect when we were young, one of my sisters used to say that my laugh sounded like a Kookaburra.
