Artist Statement: I was thinking about the gentle kind days that come and go and come again. Tenderness is a beautiful thing. We should all try to be tender with each other. When life is bad I try to remember that those gentle times are just around the corner. I focus on remembering the gentle times I’ve had until I see them again.

This work is oil and acrylic on 137X137 Fine Belgian Linen, signed on the front and sent with an artist cv and certificate of authenticity.

This work is sealed with a conservationist Gloss Varnish and is painted on Fine Belgian Linen. The Linen provides a beautiful finish for the paint and is long lasting so gives the painting posterity for many hundreds of years and the conservationist quality varnish means that you can wipe the painting free of dust if you need to which will also preserve its life. Conservationist quality varnish is essential as it doesn’t crack or yellow with age and light.
The work is painted on the sides so if hung stretched without an exterior frame it will still look lovely from any angle (no ugly white sides). This is how I hang all large works in my home as I feel l can imagine them going beyond their borders as if they aren’t contained.

If you decide to add an exterior frame I suggest choosing a frame that matches your furniture and home rather than the painting. ie if you have natural timber choose a timber frame, if you have a lot of white trim choose a white frame.

Please make sure to measure your space. Images are to give an idea only and though I try to keep them accurate they are not a replacement for measuring your space.

All work over 100cm is sent via Pack and Send and under 100cm is sent via Australia Post Express
