Beach Pattern is inspired by the iconic ‘Australian Beach Pattern’ by Charles Meere and the beach paintings of Brett Whiteley. The work is a collage of painted images symbolising Australian beach life and the 10 years I spent in Kiama on the beautiful Sth Coast of NSW.
The work has been created on a hand carved flat backed surfboard carved by Thirroul Timber Surfboards.
