Not long after I started photography, I visited the Sandgate foreshore I was fascinated by the view. After thirteen years and many visits, I finally found the scene I had been waiting for. I had been waiting for a time where the tide was in, there was no wind, the water was calm and it was dusk. It is very rare to have all of these conditions met.
To complete this artwork, I add texture using a photograph of a tree’s trunk.
