‘Silver Banksia Still I’ by Smith & Brooks is an original painting from the collection, ‘Morning Light’.

Banksia Marginata is found from the northern New South Wales coastline down into Victoria, South Australia and across the Bass Strait into Tasmania. This shrub is also known as Silver Banksia because its fine, smooth leaves reveal a delicate shimmering palm when turned over.

The colour palette of ‘Silver Banksia Still I’ was drawn from early morning walks along the beach when both the light and the colours of the landscape are soft.  ‘Silver Banksia Still I’ has been created in conjunction with ‘Coastal Banksia Still III’ and ‘Banksia Robur Still I‘, and together these works create a calming sense of reflection.

This artwork comes framed in a sustainably sourced oak float frame, ready to hang. The framed size of the work is 79cm x 79cm x 5.5cm
