Artworks: 1
Aida Taha is an artist with a background in architecture and traditional painting.
Her love for visual expression began in childhood, with a fascination for characters, stories, and the way worlds could be imagined on paper or canvas. Although she later chose to study architecture, inspired by her father, painting in watercolour and oils remained her lifelong passion. Architecture provided her with a strong foundation in structure, design logic, and problem-solving skills that continue to influence the way she composes her artworks today.
In 2009, after the birth of her twin boys, Aida stepped away from her architecture career to focus on raising her family. During this time, painting became her main creative outlet. She further developed her style, working in oils and watercolours, and sold some of her works online. This practice kept her artistic voice alive and nurtured her love for colour, light, and atmosphere.
Over the years, Aida also expanded into digital design and animation, pursuing a second bachelor’s in 3D design and animation, but fine art has always remained at the heart of her practice. Today, she brings together the discipline of architecture, the sensitivity of painting, and the imagination of design to create artworks that are both expressive and thoughtful. Her goal is to produce art that feels personal yet universal, pieces that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and connect with emotion, memory, and beauty.
