I’m Chad Stevens, an Australian artist with a deep passion for wildlife and the delicate ecosystems that sustain it. My work is inspired by the beauty of Australia’s diverse bird species, which I capture through bold colors and intricate detail. More than just paintings, each piece is a tribute to these remarkable creatures and a call to action for their protection.
Traveling across the country, I immerse myself in the landscapes that shape my subjects; studying their habitats, observing their behaviors, and exploring the native flora that sustains them. My goal is to not only highlight their physical beauty but to showcase their ecological significance and cultural heritage, fostering a deeper connection between the viewer and these species.
A strong commitment to conservation is at the heart of my work. I donate 10% of all sales (both originals and prints) to wildlife hospitals and environmental organizations, ensuring that my art directly contributes to the protection and rehabilitation of some the species I paint.
