Gabi is a full-time, multi-award-winning professional artist who works from her studio at home and lives with Scott her husband and their dog, Siberian Retriever Zora.

Mika-McNaughton is an Australian, Queensland based multi-award-winning artist. She is a prolific painter predominantly focusing on Landscape.
Her practice is driven by her obsession to deliver something to her audience.
“I paint because of the enjoyment I get from what others see and take away from a particular work. But also, to satisfy my need to explore the environment we exist in”.
Mika-McNaughton has been a finalist in many prestigious art awards including Paddington Art Prize, Brisbane Portrait Prize, Clayton Utz Art Award, Lethbridge Landscape Award, Muswellbrook Art prize…to name a few. And was the winner of SHE a National Art Prize for women in 2014.
From her studio she is often mentoring or teaching others. But also lending support to artists to help navigate cyberspace and social media. As she puts it…. “Creativity needs to be shared and passed on, as do the tools to enable us to practice in the future!”.
Mika-McNaughton’s work is held in private and public collections in Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, UK, South Korea and Hungary.
