My love for color is portrayed in my works and reflects the feelings I`m feeling at the time of creation .Living and working in coastal and rural South West Victoria , I draw inspiration from the natural environment , my works can be very diverse from each other , as I enjoy the process of experimentation and discovering ways to move paint on canvas , Ive been painting most of my life for the last 35 years , where its taken me on a journey to adapt what I see and feel into my artworks . My passion to portray water , light, flora, and land and sea , is the foundations of my studies . I enjoy layered textures, gentle movement and loose brushstrokes .My background in early childhood informs my practice, particularly my appreciation for curiosity, slow observation, and the beauty of learning through experience. This influence is evident in my playful yet thoughtful approach , where storytelling is central to what I create . Each of my pieces invites the viewer to pause , reflect , and connect .
