As an artist, Katherine is deeply inspired by the beauty of nature. She endeavour’s to capture the essence of flora and fauna through the intricate details that create their beauty. Through paintings and drawings, she aims to evoke a connection between the viewer and the natural world, fostering a sense of wonder and appreciation for its delicate beauty and balance.
Each image tells Katherine the way it wants to be captured. Sometimes it may be a quirky capture of a bird smiling that lends itself to a looser style of painting, other images may be the close up beauty of a flower that calls for a detailed and intricate painting of the subject.
