Lee J Morgan is an accomplished abstract artist with a passion for creating works that inspire a sense of calm and wonder. Working with the finest acrylic paints and canvas, her art is distinguished by unique colour combinations. Lee’s journey with abstract art began in childhood, and she has been painting ever since, continuously exploring the depths of colour and composition.
While Lee has painted for many years and worked in the creative industries, in 2024, Lee stepped out from behind the canvas and started exhibiting her original artworks. Lee immediately attracted attention with her pieces and was selected as the first Australian artist to be featured on Archipro – the centre for the architecture and interior design industry in Australia. Her first solo exhibition in Sydney, Ember, featured large-scale abstract works that mesmerised her audience. In 2025, Lee exhibited at The Other Art Fair in Melbourne, in the Pulse Exhibition with Art Lovers Australia and has been featured in Love It or List It, Selling Houses Australia and Grand Designs Magazine – identified as an emerging artist to watch.
Lee creates pieces that bring an incredible sense of movement and energy, which is often achieved with her hands directly in the paint on the canvas. The way the shapes, colours and compositions emerge on the canvas are designed to bring joy and make time slow down while bringing a focal point and intentional mood to beautiful interiors.
Lee is based in Northwestern Sydney, Australia with her work shipping Australia-wide.
