As a professional photographer I never leave home without a camera. I love capturing Melbourne’s unique beauty and character, highlighting what is special about my hometown and what it means to me. What may often appear mundane can become fascinating and beautiful from the right angle in the right light.

I look to the light for inspiration, how it may illuminate something old and all too familiar and turn it into something special.
As a professional photographer and national photo editor for over twenty years, I’ve photographed Hollywood stars, politicians, war veterans, athletes and everyday people. I especially love to photograph my hometown of Melbourne, trying constantly to capture it’s unique beauty and character. From the still waters of the Yarra at dawn, to the shadows and sunsets that can bring images of my Melbourne to life is a wonderful, stimulating challenge that I never tire of. My work has been and continues to be published daily in print and online nationally and overseas. Most recently I have been commissioned for photography of the Royal Botanic Gardens of Victoria book “Wonder” 175 Years of Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria. I also receive commissions from various local and national clients as well as the National Library of Australia where my work is held in the National archives.
