Nardia Tonna
Born in Melbourne in 1962, Nardia began her artistic journey early, being accepted into Swinburne Technical College as a talented 16 year old, then transferring to RMIT to continue her studies. After a 35 year hiatus, an extended holiday through Europe reignited her passion for art and painting, and especially so after visiting Paris.
She has studied with Walter Magilton, Kevin Taylor, and most recently Megan Skehan.

A warm love of all animals has seen her produce many commissioned works for devoted pet owners.
Her detailed work perfectly captures her animal subjects fleeting moments in time. She is committed to perfecting her craft and developing her own personal style.
Residing in the beautiful Guanaba Valley, Nardia is enveloped in the natural world. Her intention is to bring nature , life and colour indoors into our urban environments, and to recreate the immersement of being in an outdoor space.
Of late she has been involved in more abstract works, with inspiration from our vast universe. Nardia is exploring a totally new style using different techniques in texture and colour to achieve other worldly images to captivate everyone’s imagination.
