Peter Mark Hunter is a retired architect whose inspiration is drawn from his study and practice of architecture. Since retirement he has pursued his love of watercolour graphics. He is available to do paintings on request.

Peter Mark Hunter is a retired architect. Peter was born in Brisbane and studied at Qld Institute of Technology (now QUT). Whilst at QIT, Peter was trained by renowned watercolour artist Cyril Gibbs. This was a period when architects undertook formal training in the graphic arts. Upon graduation Peter spent time overseas and, on his return, worked as an architect in the private and public sectors. During his tenure in the public sector, he a Regional Architect for the government based in Central Qld. Peter’s professional work was diverse encompassing most genres of architecture. Peter always designed on the board and chose to present most designs graphically in pen, ink, pantone and watercolour.
Upon retirement, Peter has continued producing artwork. His subjects include historic and public buildings of Australia and overseas city and seascapes.
