Rachel Kierann is a contemporary Australian artist whose work is deeply inspired by nature’s beauty and ever-changing forms. With a Diploma in Colour and Design from the School of Colour and Design, she has continued to refine her skills, embracing a dynamic and intuitive approach to her art.
Growing up by the beach and now living near the bush, Rachel draws from a lifetime of rich experiences—playful days exploring rock pools, wandering through dense forests, and observing the shifting light and colours of the natural world. These moments fuel her artistic vision, allowing her to create works that capture the essence of time, memory, and place.
Fascinated by nature’s constant transformation, she explores this theme through layers of acrylic inks, paints, and mixed media. Her process is organic, encouraging texture and depth to emerge naturally, inviting the viewer to explore each piece with curiosity. Every brushstroke and mark offers a sense of discovery, encouraging personal connections and sparking the imagination.
Rachel’s work has been showcased on Selling Houses Australia and exhibited widely, earning recognition for its expressive energy and immersive storytelling.
