In addition to studio-based works, Sioux’s practice employs a multi-disciplinary approach, generating mural, public, sculptural and digital art which meaningfully contributes to its context. Tempestt has been involved in numerous group shows and held nine solo exhibitions.

Transcending creative disciplines Sioux Tempestt creates abstract, mural, sculptural and digital art. Traversing across different mediums and scale of works enables Sioux to push creative boundaries. Through materiality and physicality, her expressive abstractions intuitively fuse colour and form. Her work aims to create a narrative and connection as Sioux believes art plays an intrinsic contribution to our wellbeing, health, and happiness.
Sioux’s studio-based practice explores paint and mixed media works on canvas and board; digital and photographic compositions; poetry and writing; video; sound and music. Working across other mediums such as metal, acrylic, wood and recycled materials Sioux creates 3D permanent and ephemeral sculptural public artworks. Large scale murals also form part of Sioux’s practice with over 50 painted throughout Perth.
Sioux has delivered 11 solo exhibitions and exhibited in numerous group shows. Her work is held in public and private collections.
