Teresa has lived on the beautiful Gold Coast since 1991 but grew up in a small country town in New South Wales, listening to stories and chasing fairies in the forest with her grandparents. Her love of nature, travel, fairy tales, nursery rhymes, children’s stories and her grandfather’s ink drawings has seen her take her love of art, patterns and colour to a whole new level. Her unique art is a progression of her love of drawing, painting and airbrushing.
Teresa Franks is a successful Australian artist, illustrator, surface pattern designer, graphic designer and mother. She is well renowned for her quirky, whimsical yet poignant art always with a surrealistic style projecting strong messages of inspiration, empowerment and metamorphosis, but she is just as much at home creating beautiful landscapes, animal portraits and abstract pieces. She also loves to collaborate with clients to create one-off commissioned pieces that make a statement in any environment.
