Thanh Lyons is a Vietnamese-born artist who has been residing in Australia since 2009. Since her arrival in the country, Thanh has lived in a number of states, taking the opportunity to explore and embrace the culture and incredible landscapes Australia has to offer.
Thanh has been passionate about art since she was a child, making it one of her favourite hobbies throughout her life. Her working life has been spent largely in hospitality industry. She enjoyed travelling and creating art in her spare time, but in 2020, decided to pursue a career as a full-time professional abstract artist. She takes inspiration from the beauty of nature and unique energy of urban spaces. Having lived in such places as the Blue Mountains, Perth, Uluru, and Darwin, many of her works thus far have had their genesis in Thanh’s experience of these stunning locations.

Thanh is a creative individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, and is continually exploring different mediums and colour palettes to incorporate into her work. Her artwork is a reflection of the relationship she has with nature. Each piece is a visual study of how Thanh takes these moments into her soul. Thanh’s artworks have been recently featured in Shout Art Gallery Hong Kong & Singapore, Affordable Art Fair Hong Kong & Westfield Plenty Valley.
