Tracey Esteves is a Sydney-based contemporary Australian artist whose vibrant, narrative-rich paintings celebrate the colour, character, and culture of Australian life. Her work blends expressive brushwork, pop-art influences, and bold composition to explore themes of place, memory, and national identity—often through nostalgic beach scenes, iconic landscapes, and classic suburban imagery.
Working primarily in acrylics and mixed media, Tracey draws inspiration from Holden cars, fibro shacks, surf culture, native flora, and the panoramic beauty of Sydney Harbour. Her painterly yet graphic style offers both emotional resonance and strong visual appeal, making her work sought after by collectors, interior stylists, and curators alike.
Tracey has exhibited widely, including solo and group shows at NSW Parliament House, Thienny Lee Gallery, Frances Keevil Gallery, Arthouse Gallery Sydney, Downing Centre Sydney, Gallery 108 Katoomba, Gallery 109 Manly, and The Other Art Fair presented by Saatchi Art. Her 2020 solo exhibition An Australian Accent at Thienny Lee Gallery was a standout success, highlighting her unique take on modern Australian life. Her work has also been featured in national art magazines, and is held in private collections across Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
She has appeared on Eastside Radio 87.7FM, where she discussed her creative process and career highlights, and was invited as a guest speaker at the Royal Automobile Club of Australia (NSW Motor Division) to speak about her retro car paintings and passion for Australian themes.
With a growing national profile and a strong visual identity, Tracey continues to paint, teach, and exhibit—offering works that capture the Australian spirit with colour, warmth, and unmistakable authenticity.
