Trisha Lambi is an accomplished artist whose work has been showcased across Australia and internationally. A defining moment in her career came when she was selected to represent Australia at the 2006 and 2007 Guangzhou Art Fair in China. Her international recognition continued with her selection as a finalist in the 2012 Art Taipei International Competition. Additionally, she was a Zone winner in the London Olympics 2012 Art Show and earned a Best Pick for Painting in the 2013 Dubai International Emerging Artist Award.
Her artistic journey includes notable group exhibitions, such as Underbelly, curated by Dab Art at H Gallery in Ventura, California. She has been recognized in several prestigious competitions, including as a finalist in the 2017 Hornsby Art Prize and a semi-finalist in the Artbox Project New York. In 2018, she completed her first artist residency, creating a mural in the historic Lakkos district of Heraklion, Crete.
The following year, Lambi’s work gained widespread exposure when three of her paintings were featured in the TV series The Block. That same year, she undertook another residency, this time in the picturesque French village of Fontaine-Daniel, further expanding her artistic experience.
In 2020, her talent was recognized as a finalist in the Wyndham Art Prize and as an accepted member of the International Guild of Realism. She received a Merit Award in the Camelback Gallery’s International Juried “Shades of Red” Visual Arts Competition and secured 6th place in the global American Art Awards.
Her success continued in 2021 with finalist placements in both the Spring and Fall Salon Exhibitions of the International Guild of Realism. She was also invited to exhibit in Janet Rady Fine Art’s international exhibition “Making A Splash” and participated in the Honour Her Art Auction, where her work sold well above its reserve price.
In 2022, she served as the Artist in Residence for the International Women’s Day Corporate Art Exhibition in Brisbane, as well as for the Condamine Country Art and Open Studio Trail in Warwick.
Lambi’s recent accolades include being named a finalist in the 2023 Clayton Utz Art Prize and the 2023 Kennedy Prize.
