My work shifts between different mediums and genres with creative clarity, evoking a sense of place, thought and mood with a narrative of sorts.
Artworks: 20
My passion for art began in my formative years in Wagga, New South Wales. During the 1960s, I studied at Wagga High School and Wagga Commercial College, later moving to Sydney to pursue advanced studies in Fashion (Drafting and Design) and Fine Art.
In the early 1970s, I immersed myself in the vibrant artistic scenes of London and Europe, travelling, painting, and absorbing the zeitgeist of that transformative era. My years in Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands, profoundly shaped my creativity, painting style, and lifestyle. The Balearic Islands are not just a cherished memory; they are my enduring refuge.
Today, I operate my painting and print studio in Avalon on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, where I consistently produce new artworks and reproduce my pieces as high-quality giclée prints.
