My work in general is inspired by and is a combination of life’s everyday events – a word, a triggered memory or the elements in an undiscovered street that catch my eye, to a wave crashing on a morning walk. I call these my lifescapes.

6 Knots No Wash is one such piece. It’s a playful painting based on sketches made recently on the Sunshine Coast around Golden Beach, Caloundra, of the beautiful Pumicestone Passage.

It has a very chilled yet at the same time vibrant palette of cool greys with shots of complementary oranges and subtle warm tones and a splash of red.

It is acrylic on canvas and comes wired ready to hang.
It is initialled on the front CH., with full signature and titled on the back with a Letter of Authenticity.
