Additional Information

A Breath of Fresh Air by Maggi McDonald – Inspired by autumn sunsets over dusty desert plains, fresh air blowing across the plains…literally all the pinks under the sun…soft and fiery at the same time.

I’ve given myself the freedom to play and experiment in the studio and this has been an intensely satisfying excercise and a fresh new direction for my art. The interesting thing is that I am using the same tools, paint and colours with the results being so different yet still very familiar to my original style. These artworks are created with thick layers of paint and a palette knife.

Artwork sides are painted white, with a wire across the back ready to hang on the wall.

Created in my Sydney studio X
