A Summer’s Dusk. There’s no other time like it. When the sky shifts from blue to mauve to lilac and grey, and last light touches the landscape below. Lush pastures and valleys and hinterlands with treetops dancing in the light of dusk. The warm breeze settles – or picks up – and a quietness and calm envelopes all that it falls upon.

This pretty painting is reminiscent of this time of day, on one of my many walks; walking coastlines and waterways, through parks and nature reserves. A summer’s dusk stills my heart like no other time.

Created with palette knives on beautiful Belgian linen, this landscape is framed in solid tas oak, satin varnished, and comes with a COA.
