A Verdant Tapestry by Debra Duffy

‘A Verdant Tapestry and ‘Forest Serenade’ (listed separately) was created simultaneously using the same colours for both but each had their own respective intuitive bases that I explored. These artworks are a result from being inspired while on my river walking trail on the banks of the Nepean River that I regularly use. My favourite tree that I photographed has the the most amazing root system and trunk it is just so impressive a grand tree that must have been planted over a century ago. ‘A Verdant Tapestry’ is a composition of repetitive line marking and gestures weaving throughout that is immersed in patterns. A detailed artwork with lots of bright colours featuring fluro pink and bold orange that can be purchased alone or could be perfectly paired with ‘Forest Serenade’.

This artwork consists of a quality thick edge stretched cotton canvas with sides painted and is fully varnished for protection. This painting is ready to hang with D hooks and picture wire and signed on the front and back and also includes a certificate of authenticity. Images with framing are an indication of how this artwork would look framed.
