Additional Information

Abundant Blessings by Brenda Tsiaousis  was inspired by the full, generous beauty of the magnolia in bloom. I chose the title Abundant Blessings as a symbol of the many gifts our family has received since arriving in Australia. It also holds a special connection to the magnificent magnolia tree that stood proudly at the entrance of our very first home here, a place that welcomed us with open arms.

That tree became a gentle daily reminder of hope, strength, and belonging. Just like the warm, open-hearted neighbours we met and the deep sense of connection we felt, its wide blooms seemed to echo the embrace of a new beginning. Magnolias are often seen as the “great mother” of all flowering plants; they’ve been around for over 100 million years! They carry with them a beautiful symbolism: strength, dignity, perseverance, purity, love, and magnificence. Qualities that feel so aligned with the journey of starting fresh, holding faith, and recognising the quiet blessings all around us.
