Alice with flowers by Margaret Connell. An original painting. The image was inspired by Margaret’s life long interest in faces and drawing and painting them .This painting was also inspired by a long memory of Alice and her adventures and the colours were chosen to enhance each other and create vibrancy. The canvas was stretched over a frame and gessoes. Mixed media if acrylic and then good quality oil paint was used and the painting was completed with glazing gel.D hooks have been applied and the painting is ready to hang.
