Alignment is a meditation on the moment where movement softens into stillness — where creation arises through ease rather than effort.

This work forms part of Moonscapes, an open-ended body of work exploring lunar rhythm, light, and return. Built through soft, freehand gradients, the surface creates an atmospheric field that shifts gently with light and time. A quiet moon rests within the composition as a signature anchor, accompanied by a handwritten poetic line — a daily point of orientation within the space.

Inspired by threshold moments — dusk and dawn, breath and pause — these works exist between states of becoming. Though expressive in surface, each piece remains intentionally minimal, allowing space, silence, and subtlety to carry the emotional weight.

Alignment embodies the release of striving. Its words speak to a deeper remembering: that creation does not need to be pursued — it arrives when we are present. The work carries a calm, regulating energy, offering clarity, trust, and gentle flow within the environment it inhabits.

This piece functions as both atmosphere and mantra — something to drift into visually, and something to return to through language. A quiet companion that steadies the space and invites you back to the centre.
