Alive by Olga Megele – Large Statement Piece – is full of life, bursting from the canvas it vibrates with the passion of life! It is an abstract piece that explores colour and the interconnectedness of human relationships. The effect is one of movement that is achieved with the use of colour and the effects of texture. This is a bold, lively piece that makes a real statement. Produced with multiple hands at work and completed by the artist during her residency at the Donkey Wheel House, Melbourne CBD in 2020.
This piece is on un-stretched canvas and it will be sent rolled in a tube. Your local framer will be able to stretch it or that can be arranged by me at cost (please make an inquiry, my estimate is $200) direct from my framers in Melbourne. There is an allowance of 6cm all around for stretching so the finished dimensions will be approximately 168 x 84 cm.

The colours are very vibrant. The surface has been covered with a protective layer of acrylic sealer which has enhanced the beautiful, rich colour.
