This painting is a special one for me, emotionally and creatively. There’s a freedom in the uncertainty of the horizon and a sense of ‘a loss of ground’ beneath one’s feet. It evokes a childlike quality of exploration and wonder. I particularly love the brushwork and balance of negative space in this work.
Pathway is painted on quality 12oz canvas. The image will extend around the side (after stretching) as per the images.
Pathway will be finished in 2 coats of satin lacquer for protection and longevity.
