We’ve all been on road trips, and the trips with kids to the coast are the ones that are the most precious to me. Filled with anticipation for them (and me!) at what’s to come; sun, surf and sand filled days where the stresses and worries and the routine and mundane of everyday life is left behind, even if just for a little while. It’s holiday time! Kids aren’t always patient, especially on roadtrips, so getting to the coast also means when we get there I stop hearing the “are we there yet?” and the fun and adventures can begin! Truth be told, I love hearing their questions, and look forward to when I can answer, “Almost there!”, and seeing their faces light up in anticipation.
