Depicting a beautiful red haired figure with a white dress filled with a banksia leaf and grevillea motif which echoes the background. With a pair of New Holland Honeyeaters feasting on pink grevilleas.

Filled with washes of colour and held together by a web of pen and ink lines. The painting is filled with colour and texture which is unique to watercolour.

The design is inspired by the textiles and artwork of the early 1900s which has been a life long love of mine.
