INSPIRATION
A painting I did a few weeks ago on a station in the Flinder’s Ranges. This was a hut on a 4×4 track very close to Elders Range. There was an old kettle in an open shed, and I thought to do a combination of a still life with a landscape, painted plein air. It was a very hot and windy day, but the shed served as a shelter. The mountain range in the background is Elders Range.
