The inspiration from this came from Margaret’s drive to paint faces and in this case thé face became the inspiration for the subject .It took a while fir Margaret to decide thé direction of the painting but eventually it seemed to be appropriate ti paint a woman of early Tudor period but it was tge background colour being overwhelming thé white single petal roses lightened it , hence Ann of York . It is a Canvars canvas ;durable,Italian double acrylic primed,European certified fir wood,acid free hand stretched,warp resistant.Art spectrum oil paint and gel sealant have been used.D hooks have been applied and ready to hang No external frame.
